Mainan-mainan bermaterial kaku/rigid yang dikenakan dikepala seperti topeng, helm, kacamata,dll harus diuji dengan metode uji tumbukan (Impact Test).
Uji tumbukan ini bertujuan untuk menentukan apakah mainan dapat membahayakan wajah terutama mata. Metode uji impact ini dilakukan dengan cara menjatuhkan sebuah bola baja berdiameter 16mm dengan berat 15 gram dari ketinggian tertentu sesuai standar yang ditentukan.
Setelah proses uji tumbukan ini sampel uji tidak boleh:
a) Menghasilkan bagian-bagian runcing yang berbahaya (diuji dengan alat Sharp Point Tester).
b) Menghasilkan bagian-bagian tajam yang berbahaya (diuji dengan alat Sharp Edge Tester)
c) menghasilkan bagian-bagian longgar yang berbahaya.
